Visa Information and Support Letters
CANADIAN ENTRY REQUIREMENTS HAVE CHANGED RECENTLY. A new entry requirement called Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) was introduced by Immigration Canada starting 1 August 2015. The eTA applies for visa-exempt foreign nationals travelling to Canada by air. Therefore, while EU (European Union) and EEA (European Economic Area) nationals do not require a visa, they will require an eTA. Find out if you need an eTA or visa at : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/index.asp
The IEEE Vehicular Technology Society is happy to write a letter of support for all attendees of VTC2016-Fall, provided that a valid registration and full payment is received PRIOR to requesting a letter. Be sure to confirm that payment has been received before requesting a letter or the request will be denied.
Please register if this has not been done already. You will need the registration reference number and amount paid (both required). Registrants will receive a visa letter sent via email or FAX (when a fax number is supplied) by completing the form below. A hard copy support letter can be requested from R. Clint Keele once the electronic copy has been issued.
Visa letter requests will be processed until 4 September 2016.
