Call for Papers on Transportation Systems

The transportation systems area mainly focuses on rail transportation, and can be divided into two main sections : Signaling and Train Control Engineering, and Electrification and Traction Power Systems. The topics covered by each section include, but not limited to:

Signaling and Train Control Engineering
Track and wayside signaling components, positive train control, interoperability, and signaling system integration.

Electrification and Traction Power Systems
Railroad electrification approaches, traction power network load flow simulation, catenary design, third rail design, traction power system efficiency and energy saving, wayside and onboard energy storage devices, corrosion control and stray current related to electrified railroad lines, and safety of electrical traction power systems.

Please contact the Transportation Systems Senior Editor for details on becoming a contributor.
